AI Voice Agents
AI Voice Agents handle both inbound and outbound conversations from a single assistant configuration. You control how the agent speaks, what it knows, which model it uses, how it routes calls, and what actions it can take during a live conversation.
The assistant builder is organized into 10 configuration tabs so you can tune behavior without leaving the workflow. Those tabs cover Prompt, Model, Voice, Transcriptor, Telephony, Functions, Knowledge Base, Analysis, Webhooks, and Email Summary.
- Prompt — define the assistant's instructions, tone, goals, and guardrails.
- Model — choose the LLM and model settings that drive the conversation.
- Voice — select the speaking voice and related text-to-speech settings.
- Transcriptor — configure speech-to-text behavior for call transcription.
- Telephony — control phone settings for inbound and outbound call handling.
- Functions — connect tools and callable actions the assistant can use.
- Knowledge Base — attach documents for retrieval during live calls.
- Analysis — configure structured extraction and post-call insights.
- Webhooks — send call events and outcomes to external systems.
- Email Summary — generate follow-up summaries after completed calls.
Talkturo includes assistant templates for common use cases, including Outbound Setter, Inbound Support, Follow-up, and Custom.
New assistants are created through a 7-step wizard that guides you through the core setup flow. The wizard covers the assistant type, base configuration, prompt behavior, model and voice choices, telephony options, tools and knowledge, and final review before activation.
Campaigns
Campaigns let you run outbound calling programs at scale while keeping calling behavior controlled and observable. You decide who to call, when to call them, how often to retry, and how the platform should handle voicemail and non-responsive leads.
Core campaign controls include call windows, retry logic with backoff modes, and local presence for number matching. You can also apply DNC filtering, configure voicemail handling, and monitor campaign activity from a real-time dashboard as calls move through the queue.
CRM
The CRM keeps contact and account data close to your call operations so assistants and campaigns work from the same source of truth. You can manage individual records directly or import contacts in bulk with CSV upload.
Beyond contacts, Talkturo supports companies, opportunities, and custom fields for capturing account-specific context. Opportunity management includes Kanban-style stages, while AI data extraction from calls can populate structured fields and reduce manual note entry.
Call Logs and Intelligence
Call Logs give you the complete record of each interaction after a call finishes. You can review transcripts, listen to recordings with waveform playback, inspect call events, and understand how usage and cost were calculated.
Intelligence builds on those records with analysis across conversations. Use it to track sentiment, objections, topics, and broader trends so you can identify what high-performing calls do differently and where campaigns or scripts need adjustment.
TurboFlow
TurboFlow provides a visual, node-based builder for automating what happens before, during, and after calls. It connects assistants to external systems without requiring custom orchestration code for every workflow.
The builder supports trigger types such as webhook, Cal.com, Calendly, Slack, and Meta. From there, you can add action nodes like HTTP request, CRM upsert, and call contact, then connect integrations including Gmail, HubSpot, and Slack. The Robert AI assistant panel helps you assemble and refine workflows inside the editor.
Close AI Desktop
Close AI Desktop brings live sales support and post-call review into a dedicated desktop experience. It is designed for teams that need guidance during active conversations and structured coaching after the call ends.
The desktop app includes live coaching, session analysis with CloseScore, and a script editor with branching paths for different call outcomes. It also includes a prompt library and a desktop dashboard for reviewing activity, performance, and follow-up opportunities.
Knowledge Base, Voice Library, and Telephony
Knowledge Base improves live conversations by giving assistants retrieval-based access to uploaded documents. That makes it easier to answer policy, pricing, or product questions without hard-coding every detail into the base prompt.
Voice Library helps you choose how assistants sound. You can browse available TTS voices, preview samples, and clone custom voices when you need tighter brand or persona alignment.
Telephony handles the phone infrastructure behind your assistants and campaigns. You can search, purchase, and manage numbers through Telnyx and Twilio, then apply the compliance and routing settings required for production calling.
