Close AI Desktop App
Use Talkturo's desktop sales assistant for live coaching, post-call analysis, script guidance, and team insights on macOS or Windows.
Close AI helps your team coach live calls and review performance after the call ends
Close AI is Talkturo's desktop sales assistant for macOS and Windows. It gives your team a dedicated workspace for real-time call coaching, post-call session analysis, script guidance, and prompt management without working inside the web dashboard during a conversation.
The desktop app connects to your Talkturo workspace after sign-in, so sessions, scripts, prompts, and analytics stay tied to the same team account. Sales reps use it during live calls, and managers use the connected dashboard views to review coaching trends across the team.
Download the desktop app from the Close AI area in your dashboard at /home/[account]/close-ai. After you sign in with your Talkturo credentials, the app authenticates through OAuth and connects to your workspace automatically.
Download and installation
Close AI is available for both macOS and Windows. The app is distributed from the Close AI section of your Talkturo account so each installation stays connected to the correct workspace and plan.
Open Close AI in your dashboard
Go to the Close AI area in Talkturo at /home/[account]/close-ai. The page includes desktop download actions for macOS and Windows.
A successful visit shows the Close AI navigation with tabs for Sessions, Dashboard, Script, Settings, and Prompts.
Download the desktop app
Choose the installer for your operating system. Download the macOS app if your team uses Apple devices, or the Windows app if your team works on Windows laptops or desktops.
After the download finishes, you should have a local installer file ready to open.
Sign in with Talkturo
Open the installer, complete the local install flow, and sign in with your Talkturo credentials. Close AI uses OAuth for authentication, so your desktop session stays tied to your Talkturo account.
When sign-in succeeds, the app connects to your workspace and loads the desktop experience for that account.
If your team manages multiple workspaces, confirm you are signed into the correct Talkturo account before starting a call. Sessions, prompts, and analytics are stored at the workspace level.
Desktop plans and seat limits
Choose a desktop plan based on how many reps need access and how many seats you expect to manage. Monthly call usage appears in the product as a progress bar, while unlimited plans show no limit indicator.
| Plan | Price | Included seats | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Desktop Starter | $186/month | 1 seat | Best for a single rep or pilot rollout |
| Desktop Pro | $373/month | 3 seats | Expandable for growing teams |
| Desktop Enterprise | Custom pricing | Negotiable | For larger teams and custom requirements |
| Additional seats | $99/month per seat | — | Add to eligible plans as needed |
Billing and seat access affect whether team members can use the desktop app. If a user does not have desktop access, Talkturo shows a locked state and links them to billing.
What your team can do in Close AI
The desktop experience is organized around five main areas. Reps spend most of their time in Sessions and Prompts, while managers and enablement teams usually work more heavily in Dashboard, Script, and Settings.
Sessions
Review live and past call sessions, search call history, and open detailed transcript and coaching views.
Dashboard
Track team-wide performance with eight analysis views, KPI cards, and AI-written insights.
Script
Build and maintain visual branching call scripts that guide reps through live conversations.
Settings
Customize the desktop AI behavior by editing the system prompts used across coaching and analysis.
Prompts
Save personal prompt presets for Ask mode so reps can reuse the instructions they rely on most.
Sessions support two coaching modes
Close AI sessions are the center of the desktop workflow. Every session is created in one of two modes, and the mode changes how the rep interacts with the assistant during the call.
Listen mode
Listen mode uses the microphone path to follow live call audio and provide real-time coaching. It is designed for active sales conversations where the rep wants guidance without stopping to type or ask for help manually.
In the session list, Listen mode appears with a mic icon. Teams typically use it for live objection handling, pacing support, and checking whether the rep is following the planned script.
Ask mode
Ask mode works as a co-pilot Q and A experience. The rep asks the assistant questions during a live conversation and gets direct help without switching into full coaching mode.
In the session list, Ask mode appears with a message icon. Teams often use it when reps need quick answers, phrasing help, or context-sensitive prompts during a call.
CloseScore gives each session a clear performance signal
CloseScore is Talkturo's session score from 0 to 100. It appears in session analysis and across dashboard analytics so reps and managers can compare individual calls and broader team trends using the same scoring model.
The score is color-coded to make results scannable:
| Score range | Color |
|---|---|
| 80 and above | Emerald |
| 60 to 79 | Yellow |
| 40 to 59 | Orange |
| Below 40 | Red |
CloseScore is not a single summary number with no detail behind it. Each analyzed session also includes a category breakdown with sub-items and notes, which makes it easier to see why a score changed and what the rep should improve next.
Session analysis shows how the call unfolded
Session analysis turns a completed conversation into practical coaching feedback. It combines speaking metrics, qualitative feedback, script adherence, and prospect signals in one place so reps can review a call quickly and managers can coach from evidence instead of memory.
Talk metrics
These four metrics describe how the rep handled the flow of the conversation.
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Talk Share | The percentage of total call time the salesperson spoke |
| WPM | Words per minute, used as a pacing signal |
| Patience | The percentage of pauses that were well timed |
| Longest Monologue | The longest uninterrupted speech segment |
A balanced set of talk metrics helps teams spot common issues fast. For example, high talk share combined with long monologues can point to weak discovery, while low patience can point to interrupting or rushing the prospect.
Coaching feedback
Every analyzed session includes coaching cards for Strengths and Improvements. Strengths identify what the rep did well, while Improvements combine weaknesses and risks into a single area the rep can act on next.
Because the feedback sits next to transcripts and score details, reps can move from summary to evidence without opening a separate tool. That makes post-call review faster and easier to turn into repeatable coaching.
Script coverage
If your team uses a Close AI script, session analysis shows how much of the script the rep covered during the call. Each section is checked against the conversation so you can see which parts were addressed, skipped, or only partially covered.
The checklist also shows time spent in each section. That helps managers answer two common coaching questions: whether the rep followed the intended flow, and whether too much time was spent on the wrong stage of the conversation.
Prospect personality analysis
Close AI also identifies a prospect personality type and summarizes how to work with that style. The analysis includes the personality label, the levers that tend to motivate that prospect, and the behaviors or phrases that may create friction.
This view is useful when a rep wants to adjust tone for follow-up calls, or when managers want to explain why a conversation stalled even though the script was technically covered.
The desktop dashboard tracks team performance across eight views
The desktop dashboard rolls session data up to the team level. It is designed for managers, enablement leads, and reps who want to compare performance over time instead of reviewing one call at a time.
KPI cards and time ranges
The dashboard starts with four KPI cards:
| KPI | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Calls in period | Total calls for the selected time range |
| Avg CloseScore | Average session score across the selected range |
| Avg Duration | Average session length |
| Active Team Members | Number of team members with activity in the range |
Use the time range selector to switch between 7d, 30d, and 90d. This makes it easier to compare short-term coaching progress against longer performance trends.
Analysis tabs
Each tab answers a different coaching or management question.
| Tab | What you can review |
|---|---|
| Overview | Weekly call and CloseScore trends, duration distribution, and leaderboard data |
| CloseScore | Score trends, distribution buckets, and per-member scoring |
| Objections | Objection counts, categories, types, intensity, and score correlation |
| Questions | Open, deep, and closed question mix plus missed questions |
| Personality | Prospect personality distribution and per-member patterns |
| Language | Talk share, WPM, patience, and longest monologue trends |
| Coaching | Evaluations, top strengths, weaknesses, and risks |
| Script | Script usage, average coverage, order deviation, and block-level coverage |
AI narrative insights
The dashboard can generate written insights and recommendations based on the active analysis tab. This feature turns chart data into a plain-language summary, which is useful when a manager needs to brief a team quickly or explain what changed across a time period.
Use the narrative output as a coaching shortcut, then open the underlying tab data when you need more detail. That sequence keeps reviews fast while preserving the evidence behind the recommendation.
Settings and prompts control how the assistant behaves
Close AI separates workspace-level AI behavior from personal prompt presets. That split helps teams keep core coaching behavior consistent while still giving individual reps room to tailor how they work.
Settings for system prompts
The Settings area lets your team customize seven desktop AI system prompts. These prompts control how Close AI behaves in areas such as live coaching, post-call analysis, Ask mode, sales suggestions, summaries, assistant responses, and interview support.
Workspace settings follow a clear fallback order: workspace override, admin standard, then Talkturo built-in default. That structure lets admins standardize coaching while still allowing changes when the team needs a different voice or workflow.
Personal prompt presets
The Prompts area is a personal library for reusable prompt presets in Ask mode. Reps can save frequently used instructions, mark one prompt as the default, and update or remove prompts as their workflow changes.
This setup is especially useful for teams that want consistency without forcing every rep into the same phrasing. Shared coaching rules can live in Settings, while individual working styles can live in Prompts.
